The double entry doors bring tenants, clients, and visitors into a Common Lobby area that aspires to the Essex Village environs of a shipbuilding community in the 1700 and 1800s and the maritime heritage of the Connecticut River Valley.
The Building’s owner, Architect Rod Hartung’s own nautical collection of sailing ship models from Mystic Seaport, including the USCG Eagle and numbered and signed prints of marine art by Geoff Hunt, John Mecray, Donald W. Bemers and local marine artist Jeffrey Sabol.
A short corridor off the Lobby to the Men and Woman’s Lavatories, a circular metal stairway to the basement and an exit door to a handicap ramp that leads to the rear parking area.
Common outdoor spaces: Tenants and guests may enjoy a peaceful and private lunch break or perhaps schedule a casual client meeting in the back lawn of the office building.
